Stone Oven House hosts a series of small, recurring festivals throughout the year —
each one built around a theme, but shaped primarily by the people who take part.
These are not large-scale events with fixed programs.
Each microfestival unfolds over 2–3 days and brings together performances, exhibitions, workshops, shared meals and informal gatherings. What happens depends on who is present.
Who can apply
We welcome artists, musicians, writers, researchers, cooks, performers —
and anyone who feels their practice can exist in this kind of environment.
You don’t need to fit into a specific format.
You can come with a clear proposal — or just with an intention to be part of the space.
What you can propose
You are free to suggest a format that feels natural to you, for example:
— a performance, concert or reading
— a workshop or laboratory
— a talk, screening or discussion
— a food-related project or shared dinner
— or something that doesn’t fit into categories
What matters is not the format itself, but how it resonates with the context of the festival.
How it works
Each festival has a loose structure:
Friday — arrival, shared dinner, informal gathering
Saturday — main day of activities
Sunday — slower continuation: workshop, brunch, closing
Some moments (like shared dinners) are reserved for association members,
but the overall atmosphere remains open and participatory.
Conditions
We do not operate as a commercial festival.
There are no fixed fees, but participants are free to:
— collect donations
— sell their works
— invite their own audience
In many cases, we can offer accommodation during the festival days.
Open format
We try to avoid rigid frameworks.
If your idea doesn’t fully match the theme but feels relevant to the spirit of the place,
we are open to discussing it.
Often the most interesting things happen at the intersection of different practices.
